Up Your Average

Jim Rohn – “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

How do you tell when it’s time to up your average?

Paul and Chris discuss how often their clients talk to them about increasing their social circle. They feel stagnant and want to get more out of life but feel limited by either the small number of friends that they have, or that the people they do hang around with don’t seem to motivate them to try anything new. It’s just the same old thing day in and day out.

Whether you want to improve your salary, your quality of life, fitness or whatever it is. Have a look around you at the 5 people you spend the most time with, would you say you are the average of that group? Chances are that it is the case.

We’re not suggesting that you should dumb your entire circle of friends and just start a fresh. But more like replacing the lowest “common denominator” to increase your own average.

Maybe it’s just the motivation you need, to hang out with people who are more likely to challenge you.

Listen to the podcast to find out how tell if you need  to up your own average and how to take the simple steps to do it.
